YASU

haykal alrruh alqudus (THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NET)  A-mā taʿlamūna anna jasadakum huwa haykal ar-rūḥ al-qudus alladhī fīkum?

In Arabic Christian manuscripts, Jesus was consistently referred to as Yasūʿ.

John 14:6 (NET)  Qāla lahu Yasū ʿ: “Anā huwa aṭ-ṭarīq wa al-ḥaqq wa al-ḥayāh. Laysa aḥadun ya’tī ilā al-Āb illā bī.”

Yesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Yasūʿ is the one who performed many miracles and witnessed by many people. He is the one who died on the cross. He is the one who rose from the dead on the third day. He is the one who ascended into heaven, witnessed by 500 people. He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the One who existed before Abraham. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Yasūʿ is the Savior and Lord.
